A soft, chunky knit cat mat, handmade from merino wool. It's a flexible mat rather than a structured bed, so you can put it on the floor, in a basket, on a shelf or on the sofa. Wool is breathable and naturally helps regulate temperature, so it's comfortable all year round.
Why cats love it
- Springy, cushioned knit to knead and curl up on
- Breathable wool that stays comfortable in summer and winter
- Fits inside baskets, carriers and cat tipis
Choosing a size
- 30 cm: kittens and very small cats, or as a shelf mat
- 40 cm: small to medium cats
- 50 cm: medium to large cats
- 60 cm: large cats or two cats sharing

Care and safety

- Reshape while damp and dry flat. Do not machine wash, wring or tumble dry.
- Check occasionally for loose loops, as cats may catch their claws.
Frequently asked questions
Is it a bed?
It's a soft mat. Many cats sleep on it as it is, and it also makes any basket or box extra cosy.
Will it keep my cat warm?
Wool traps warmth in cooler months and stays breathable when it's warmer.
Can my cat scratch it?
Some cats knead or scratch. If a claw catches a loop, gently ease the loop back into place.

Oh my God! I’ve got the package today aaaannnddd WOW! It’s amazing!!! 🥹🥹🥹 Even better than expected!
Because the delivery suffered some delays, Amy was so incredibly caring that she emailed me as soon as possible to apologise and suggest solutions to the issue. She then insisted to make up for the delay by sending a surprise gift in the form of some wonderful woollen toys. The Katzenmatte and the toys are an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT! 😻😻😻 So beautiful they are that my husband and I are not sure who loves them more, me and him or Mr. Orange Fluff himself 🤩😻😆
