Eight natural cat toys in calm, neutral tones, packed as a ready-to-give gift set. There's something for every play style: a wool fish and a kicker to grab and bunny-kick, a teaser wand for chasing, matatabi to chew, catnip to refresh toys and a little cotton mouse to bat around. The wool fish and the kicker are made in our studio and filled with English sheep's wool that I wash by hand.
What's in the box
- Wool fish in cream, made from thick 100% wool felt and filled with hand-washed wool
- Corduroy kicker, wool filled, for grabbing, wrestling and bunny-kicking
- Interchangeable teaser wand with bell and carabiner clip, plus two attachments: four beige wool felt balls on an elastic cord, and a faux fur and feather attachment
- 6 matatabi (silver vine) sticks in a resealable tube
- Jute-wrapped matatabi stick with raffia fringe
- Dried matatabi fruit
- 25 g dried catnip in a resealable tube, for refreshing toys
- Beige and white gingham cotton mouse
Choose the filling: catnip, valerian or no herbs
The wool fish and the kicker come with your choice of filling, at the same price. Catnip is the classic. About one in three cats doesn't react to it, and many of those cats love valerian instead. Care and safety
- Always supervise play and check the toys regularly. Remove anything that becomes damaged or loose. No cat toy is indestructible.
- Never leave the teaser wand out with your cat. Put it away after play because of the elastic, cord and feathers.
- Replace matatabi sticks and fruit once they are well chewed.
- Store catnip and matatabi in their closed tubes, cool and dry.

Is this a good gift for a new kitten?
Yes. Kittens love the mouse, the wand and the soft fish. Choose "no herbs" if you'd like to start without catnip, and always supervise play.
